Taking Rajo Dos Perfume Photography to the Next Level

It’s the beginning of 2024 and I am looking forward to enhance my skills as a commercial product photographer. Then I recalled that I received a Christmas gift from my sister. The perfect product to do this lighting test shoots.

I really had so much fun creating these images. In fact, I also did a YouTube video breakdown for the behind-the-scenes. You can check it here if you are interested.

Going back to the topic, I was originally going to create just the hero shot for this test shoot. However, I visited Bench’s website and saw that there is a room for improvement for their e-commerce photos for this product. Hence, I tried to recreate and improve the current photos of this product on top of the hero shot I originally planned.

Check out the gallery below:

E-commerce Photos

The third e-commerce photo where the chrome material of the spray is showing was a bit challenging as it’s reflective. However, I managed to create a balanced reflection by using one light and two bounce cards.

Hero Shot

This was a composite photo (7 exposures) which was processed in Adobe Photoshop. This photo was inspired by the work of Lukasz Mazurkiewicz.
