What I Wish I’m Wearing in the 3 Stages of Commercial Photo/Film Production

I was challenged by a prospective Client to showcase a fashion product photography. Normally, I would decline such request as my portfolio usually is enough to convince a prospect. However, my portfolio right now includes food and general small products. Nothing of fashion related. Now, in order for me to (hopefully) secure the project, I need to create an e-commerce fashion portfolio to present to my prospect. That’s how it works~ create the work you want to be hired for.

Without further ado, here’s my take on Fashion Product Photography with the concept of “what I wish I’m wearing in the 3 stages of commercial photo/film production”. I went for minimal but bold hard light which are normally seen on high fashion related photos.

P.S. The last photo on each set is what the actual outfit of most photographers/cinematographers~ like me. Just plain black shirt. Enjoy!
